8 wale cotton corduroy is soft to touch and is a beautiful sky blue colour. It has added elastane which gives the fabric a slight 2 way stretch. The fashionable chunky cord would be perfect for sewing a dungaree dress, dungarees, jacket or a skirt!

Corduroy fabric is a cut-pile fabric and is described using the term wales. Wales are the raised ridges that run vertically down the fabric. The higher the number the more ridges that will fit into one inch of fabric.
